Common Questions
Who can join?
Anyone who can introduce professionals or organizations to Heritage Web — agencies, associations, creators, consultants. Joining is free and there's no audience-size requirement. You sign up once and get both an Affiliate Portal and a Heritage Web dashboard account.
How long are my referrals tracked?
A click on your link is tracked for 60 days. Once that visitor creates an account, the attribution is permanent, and you earn on everything the account pays for during its first 12 months.
When and how do I get paid?
Each commission clears after a 60-day review period. When your available balance reaches $50 you request a payout in the Affiliate Portal; payments go out on the 1st of the month by PayPal or ACH with no fees, or by wire from $500. Your first payout needs two referred accounts. Unclaimed balances expire after 365 days.
What if a referral cancels or asks for a refund?
If they cancel, commissions simply stop. If a purchase is refunded within 60 days, the matching commission is reversed — which is why commissions clear after 60 days.
Can I refer myself or my own firm?
No. Commissions aren't paid on your own listings, your firm's listings or any account you manage. Self-referrals are removed.
How do enterprise referrals work?
Same 50%, on a much larger contract. Email [email protected] before you introduce a firm or organization so the referral is tracked — enterprise deals close offline, not through a link.
Do I have to disclose that I'm an affiliate?
Yes. Wherever you share your link, say that you earn a commission — a short line is enough. The program terms cover the wording and the FTC rules.
